If and when he gets up to speed we should loan him out to the National league to get his match sharpness and prove his fitness, even if its just for a month or two. Only then may he be of use to us.

Why? He's a proven L2 winger. What's wrong with gradually giving him game time off the bench, just as we did with Angol last season and will no doubt do with Walker and Osadebe when they're back in full training?

The season will be over by then..that’s the problem. With Young and Wright fighting for left hand side spots Eisa ain’t getting any game time soon , if at all. Bench or otherwise Offy.

Because we're over stocked in those areas and some consistent game time, that we can't offer him, would do him the world of good.

He's been out for over a year. He needs minutes to build his fitness and sharpness and with the quality we have in those areas he isn't going to get those minutes here.

Agree that a loan may be best. He's been out for so long, who knows if he will ever be the same player as the one we thought we had when he signed. He didn't particularly impress in pre-season so unfortunately he has probably dropped down the pecking order. Hope he proves me wrong though

Certainly will. I don’t see any harm him going out on loan initially as he has two in front of him at the moment.

Because he will struggle to get on the bench with Banks, Young, Harratt, Oliver, Wright, Lord Luton, Angol & Walker all competing for three spots behind Cook and Oliver a guaranteed bench spot.

A real shame for him really as he's a been a proven decent L2 player before joining us, but fit or not I don't see how he gets even close to the match day squad as it stands. But on the plus side there will be no shortage of takers for a short loan stint.

I guess it will depend on how well Eisa does in training compared to the other wide players. Hughes has shown that he is happy to rest and rotate frequently and has said that there will be very good players who sometimes don't even make the bench. If he looks good in training I could see him being given a bench slot in place of, say, Young, for some games.

Glad to hear he’s back soon.

On a similar note, spotted Osadebe up in Sunwin top tier towards end of the game. Only saw him just before he disappeared off steps into the concourse and presume he’s on crutches and has a brace still (couldn’t tell from my angle), but great to see him getting to VP. Hopefully he’s making good progress too.

Good to see that he is standing on his own two feet, so to speak . He will be like a new signing when he comes back into the squad in the new year. It would be nice to get an update from the club on Walker, seems to have gone a bit quiet, but also glad to hear he is not on the crutches anymore. Eisa is a strange one and he will need to work really hard to get into the team, what strength in depth we have , its fantastic and will stand us in good stead later in the season.

Given the length of time out, then a 2 month loan, where he gets a chance to get his fitness back and more importantly his ability to deal with the psychological pressure of how the injury occurred, could assist.
On a much simpler level, having suffered a ruptured Achilles, then I am anxious about returning to sport (other than swimming), and my livelihood doesn’t rely on being a sportsman.

As I said before the quality and size of the playing squad will see us through in the long term. If you compare us with Stevenage , Evans said their entire playing squad is 18 players. Long winter months and suspensions etc and their bench will be kids most likely. With injuries gradually returning the longer the season goes the more this will pay off handsomely.

Given we have so many wide options now, and Walker is coming back to move Chapman back over to a wide slot, is it worth trying to send Eisa out on loan? Other than the PJT games, i cant see him getting any chance for minutes, just because he is so far down the pecking order. National League dont have a transfer window, so could in theory leave today on loan until January just to see what we have in him.
