I was trying to simplify the concept for you. I don't think they are extreme and I would argue that the scientific consensus falls in line more with what I think than anything else offered on this thread.

We are undergoing a global collapse in biodiversity, including pollinators that we rely on for food production (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, 2019). The area of agriculturally productive land is shrinking (Mbow et al., 2019).

well, I am currently in Dunvegan funnily enough, waiting for 5 a side at 7:30. Biblical rain that is horizontal, just now. But that’s weather, it’s interesting when you talk to older folk that have lived here all their life about recent (i mean 10 yrs plus) changes climatically. But i guess the worry is more for people at the extremes that may well be affected more than ourselves.
