Losing two years of their lives will have a big impact. I think they will appeal and the sentences will be lowered.

 

I thought a directive had been given by the out going Tory party and applied by the current government we need to free up places in prison as they are over crowded, I agree we should get tough on these people but were letting criminals out with what are far worse crimes.

There were no other options for me, although others may disagree uncontrolled immigration is a big problem going forward IMO.
I'm also in favour of some kind of fee with regards seeing a doctor (although its very difficult and has been for many years) we have an information board in all the practices and the amount of missed appointments is disgusting, a nominal fee that is repaid if the patient keeps the appointment if not you lose it, I don't think that is unreasonable.
I think we need to reply in the other thread Tony before the mods do .

Unfortunately at that level for some reason no one gets a prison, I don't think any major player during the Subprime fiasco was sent to prison and that had an effect on world economics for many years, as voters we don't know half the things our PMs are legally entitled to claim for yet some still weren't happy and claimed for things they knew it was illegal to try and claim for, ops sorry gov I thought I could claim for the floating Duck Island in my mansion.
