Unless they live in Allerton, drive to the match and have their dinner before setting off.

Well that's my thinking totally put to rest and batted deep out of the crease.
Thankfully, young kids eating dinner at noon ish will not get 'hungry' and want to snack/eat by 3pm onwards. Not forgetting the adults of course.

I blame the parents. I was only ever allowed a single rich tea between meals, or a fig biscuit on a special occasion

We could only dream of having a fig biscuit. Sounds a bit posh your house Uyllses.

It was my auntie who lived in posh part of Bradford who had them. We were Heaton trash and she lived on Grasmere road

That's what the sweet man in Midland Road is for

All joking aside. As long as they bring things themselves to snack on and drink if needed then the £45 seems a great price to me.

Compare it to the cinema for instance. It's certainly comparable pricing wise, it probably just won't be as entertaining!

Very true. Only a small percentage of people buy food and drink from VP anyway, the last time I did it was sausage and chips on the back of the (standing) kop. I might very occasionally get a coffee on a very cold day, but I'm not paying £2 plus for a sausage roll when I can get six of the same but better from Greggs. Not even if Nigella baked and Katya Adler warmed it.

As for beer. Forget it. I'm no beer snob, but I really cant imagine that anyone at VP cleans the lines and I prefer what William at the NBH has to offer.

I didn't think they did draught in the tea bars anyway? It's all plastic bottles I think.

Never bought any so don't know. The draught in the suites is like drinking electric Websters (if you are old enough to remember that).

Yeah I remember Websters but I'm a lager man so fizzy stuff is all generally drinkable if you're not that fussy.

As long as your lager is decent stuff like estrella or moretti, rather than Carling Black Label and Skol (can you even still buy skol on draught ?) then I will let you off that piece of heracy. Which is more than you could ever say for Webster Pennine Bitter and Green Label Best when served on keg. The Original Fizzy Keg P&ss.

Probably my two favourite draught lagers. It all depends how long I'm out for though. If its a full day sesh I usually have to bite the bullet and drink a Carling or Coors lite. Otherwise I'll be home and in bed for tea time!

Lager is a cracking drink, especially on a nice beach in Portugal or a bierkeller in Germany. Only time I think about a pint of ale is if I'm back in Sunny Yorkshire.
