I coached his kid's birthday party one year and despite hiring me and a colleague, he kept trying to get involved. True story. Wouldn't say he wasn't a nice person, he was polite but just overbearing. His wife was lovely though and so were the other parents

There is absolutely no need to own them as long as they meet our requirements and we have a long term agreement.

 

Yep. I remember when I was a kid at football school holiday training having to move off the pitch as City turned up. Terry Dolan ran the training for the council

 

I thought his kids are at Woodhouse for school. Perhaps he didn't want to move them?

 

did he? Problem is when people leave they seem vague as vague can be to blame anyone and anything except their own incompetence

 

Going back further we trained at King George Playing Fields on Canal Road. Used to go on my bike and watch pre-season there.
