Imagine having 5 players in one team who can all chip in with a goal. I'd love to know what that feels like.

 

Good luck to him, great win today. Some on here have a hatred towards him because he didn’t succeed here, but he’s had success elsewhere and keeping Morecambe up for a second year in the trot will be a fantastic achievement.

 

maybe if the fans had something to be positive about then there wouldn’t be so negative ........... I’m sure he thousands who bought season tickets season had a massive positive attitude before a ball was kicked ........,,,, yet again we are let down by mediocrity............. big gates at home ........big followings away yet some how we should be happy to be sat 8th with a squad that has been put together on a decent budget ...........I seriously don’t care anymore about it ......... that’s what that lot have done to me .........36 years a season ticket holder and I simply don’t care anymore ............. I should have been gutted that we didn’t have a game yesterday but yet again I had a great Saturday I didn’t wake up issued off because people on THOUSANDS of pounds haven’t ruined it .................... so before you start pulling the fanbase to bits look at the real problems and that’s that squad that are badly letting us down yet again

 

The perfect fit for Morecombe unfortunately not for Bradford City and the world turns, your correct the expectations of Morecambe fans will be totally different to ours, and I don't want that to sound like we're billy big balls.

 

Probably need to get over our obsession. It's getting embarrassing the amount of ex managers we blame for everything that's wrong at the club while the real issues get constantly excused.

 

I agree and I was glad to see him go, but with no hard feelings from me. It didn’t work we move on, some unfortunately have an obsession with ex players and managers, once they’re gone good luck to them but it’s best to move on and wish them well not have ill feeling.

You could almost argue they've stayed up despite him, not because of him.

 

Congrats to him and Morecambe, them staying up is akin to us staying in the Premiership. Glad we don’t have to play him next season, can’t be bothered with the sideshow it would bring. All focus should be on promotion and every game counts, not slagging a former manager as people were doing with Bowyer most of the game against Salford. Or who can forget Parky what’s the score when 2-0 up against Bolton, that ended well…

We seem to have a habit of firing up opponents when they’ve spent time here, probably why Carlisle always look like Real Madrid against us.

 

Reminds me of pre season comments this time. Morecambe will go straight down, Bradford up blah blah blah.

Football does not work like such. And whatever you think of Adams, he has achieved the goal, I'm sure what Morecambe asked of him.

As a comparison, Hughes 15 from 36 points, Adams 11 from 36 points.

 

I'd say so! They looked dead and buried not so long ago but an uptick in form has given them a great chance of survival now. This is Morecambe we're talking about, merely being in the football league is seen as a success for them and perhaps that's the environment that Derek relishes rather than a higher pressure one with a more ambitious team.

 

The bold part is kind of the subtle point I’m making, fans are quick to turn on players and managers a like. Maybe it’s the club not them that’s the problem, there’s only been one constant since the day Parky made the correct call and walked out…

I don't need a daily dose of 'the world is ending' when we're enjoying a reasonably successful season, but one that could be improved upon.

I'm going to have to put you on mute for my own sanity. The season isn't bad, hasn't been bad, and isn't going to suddenly turn bad over night. If you don't block me back, hopefully you'll come round later in the season and I won't feel utterly depressed reading all your furious posts.

 

They would have found it difficult to have appointed anyone more successful than him ............which i am sure he has told them already !!

Our Twitter hashtag this morning is bizarre, some real saddos follow us. Who can be arsed listening to a Morecambe pre match press conference. The guys gone who cares anymore.

 

Credit where it’s due, he’s doing a very good job there again. Didn’t work here but no doubting he can get results, some of our lot still obsessing over him on Twitter is a bit embarrassing considering he’ll most likely be in the division above next season.

 

Hope they stay up , Adams seems a good fit for them , no great expectations so looks like it works in his favour , couldn't do it here with trying to get us out of the khazi again , both of us better off with what we have.
Think they'll struggle though next year ,think Stockton will move on , proved he can step up think the bigger fish will come calling for him
