I’m one of the biggest Rupp outers going but this smells of a disaster, as Onside said it looks like something they’ve come up with on a night out, it reminds me of How I Met Your Mother when they get pissed and keep saying that they should buy a bar. A manager who I think would be a car crash forced on the club, can he even be sacked? Sounds exciting with some big names but I can’t help but think there’s much more sensible owners out there.

 

Considering when they took over Salford averaged less than 200 to an average this season of 2,900 I'd say it is a good achievement. In the 21/22 season they only got 2100 so it's a good increase on that

 

Oh come on ..it’s pretty woeful. You know as well as I , it fluctuates soley based on how many opposition fans attend in any one season. If they played BCAFC every game it would be up there, if they played Sutton every game ……? To many factors involved at any club attendances from one season to the next. If they were trying to “sell” the club based on an average crowd of 2,000 yet players paid as if the average crowd was 15,000 I’d keep quiet!

 

Sounds all double Dutch to me!

 

Would we end up been known as a team of cloggers.

 

Getting to the Stadium on bikes would be a problem where could we park them.

 

However if Bergkamp still wants to pull his boots on, I reckon he could still do a job in L.2.

He probably still quicker than Waddle was when he came to us, and didn’t do half bad!

There's more chance of Dennis Bergkamp playing up front for us next season than owning us.

We could do with some Dutch investors right now they know how to construct Dams.
Perhaps Ryan could put his finger in the Dyke till then just an idea.

 

Pretty sure they've already got at least 1 billionaire backer but it can'tbegoing theyvway they'd have hoped.

At least these would have a clue and interest in football. Realistically we aren't going to push on past league 1 with Rupp at the helm but we've seen what happens when an owner wants to be manager before!

 

I disagree with this. We have a big fan base and solid revenue for a L2 club. We lack assets, but the revenue gives us a high valuation.

Money can't buy a fan base, at least not in the short or medium term. I'm not saying the £10M Rupp valuation is 'good value', but we have the most potential in L2 just based on supporter numbers.

 

As long as you have her permission beforehand though.

 

So what do you think this amounts to? We're a League Two club which puts a low ceiling on our valuation. What is the support base worth if it's not already translating to profit?
