I don’t know enough about him to judge him as a person and I wouldn’t in any event. The old saying “walk a mile in my shoes” comes to mind. We are all products of our upbringing and events that have happened to us.

I don’t want an apology, it would be meaningless I just want a recognition that as always ppl have limitations to their skills and experience and then put it right. This has happened now by DS arriving at the club. For me it has always been the responsibility of the owner to make sure the club is run properly and with good budget management skills. A good deal of the fans money has been wasted over the years of his ownership, not least by his ex partners involvement with our club. If you appoint a person who has virtually no experience of football ie everything from recruitment to staff management then it is unlikely to be a success.

We will have to see if Rupp has learnt a very painful lesson. We move on.

 

Acknowledgement and recognition that mistakes have been made will certainly be a start. Let's hope we hear them from both Rupp and Sparks at the proper fans forum.

 

I think its life generally mate at times we look back and think they were better days, but when you look back it was because you only had the T&A and TV not floor to floor news everywhere you turn or social media X, face book or WhatsApp, but what's worse is many platforms actually don't tell the truth its down to the individual to try and fathom it out we see it on here in the Brexit, politics threads its only true if its from the Guardian or Daily Telegraph, from one extreme to the other.
PS I'd love to go back to the 60s and be a teenager again .

A few on here won't be happy with Sharpe now that he has said he thinks Neill Byrne will be a key player next season. Personally I'll judge him after I've seen him play a few games in claret and amber. CTID

 

Early 70s for me, I was born 57. Although if I'd been a bit older late 60s would have been good.

 

They were decent times tbf. Hard, decent but generally people had a bit of respect then. I’m not sure I’d like to grow up as a teenager with Social Media rampant?
