    Hes played 18 mins in the last month and again dropped....he is a filler for injuries and as simple as that. Couldnt even get in a 26 man euros squad. Meanwhile Stockton just keeps on scoring....

    Ronaldo has 21 goals aged 37, without him they would be midtable. Unfair to blame him for their woes when they havent won a single game without him this term.

    Defence and Mudfield need looking at before the finger of blame pointed at Ronaldo.

    Agree with most of that. Though Sancho looks like he’s improving and I think he’s one who could flourish under Ten Hag. I’d imagine Ronaldo has been taken aback by how much United have slipped since he was there previously. Unless they transform and re-establish principles needed for a top club, they’ll continue to go backwards. I think they might finally be waking up, but the challenge for Ten Hag - or one of many - is how you square the inclusion of Ronaldo in a modern, high pressing, high intensity premiership side. By all accounts, Ajax are akin to City and Liverpool in terms of work rate and intensity. You simply can’t play Ronaldo in that sort of system. It wouldn’t surprise me if he went back to Sporting Lisbon this summer.
