Testing finishes end of next week but they have just updated the report a LFT website again. Seems a right waste unless the plan is to carry on using it

 

Everybody has some sort of ailment, “long Covid” is just another. Such is life

 

The wife and daughters went to see the Lion King at the Alhambra last night before the show started an announcement was made to turn all mobiles off, and to wear a mask at all times, on looking around the wife said there was a couple the row behind wearing masks but no body else.

I'm not surprised people no one wore masks. I doubt 90% of people even carry them round anymore. If you were uncomfortable in that kind of environment you would be either wearing a mask already or not attending.

 

1 in 11 in the land of Masked Scotland. It's as if they don't really do anything.

 

My daughter went to see it too. The wife was supposed to be there too but couldn't go because she's got covid

 

They've seen it before saying some of the stuff they were doing was amazing (actors on stilts etc), hope your lass gets well soon, she will be O/K whilst you pop out to church this afternoon for a couple of hours .

Don't forget the extra symptoms now out there.

list of Covid symptoms now includes a further nine:

shortness of breath
feeling tired or exhausted
aching body
headache
sore throat
blocked or runny nose
loss of appetite
diarrhoea
feeling sick or being sick


So if anything is wrong with you, it is Covid, however if you test negative and it isn't Covid no one wants to know anymore.

Well I finally got Covid. I must have caught it in the pub, because I went out and had about 10 pints, a Curry and got in for 3am.

Next morning I had an aching body, sore throat, headache and was sick. Must be Covid and nothing to do with the 10 pints. My boss however says otherwise.

 

Those have been the recognised symptoms of Covid (by everyone except the government) for the last year. The Zoe app has been flagging them for yonks.

Clearly what has happened here is that the government stuck with the original three symptoms only, in order to suppress the demand for Covid tests, thereby artificially masking the true rate of Covid cases. Now that they've ended free testing they 'coincidentally' recognise all the symptoms that they previously ignored. Quelle surprise?

 

Visited St James yesterday and was a little surprised how many wards and areas were cordoned off for covid

 

There are more people in hospital with covid, not necessarily because of covid, since about February 2021
