Thinking for themselves

 

If vaccine passports made any sense in preventing infection and keeping people safe I could understand why they would be used.

However this is nothing but cohesion, they might aswell just made the vaccine mandatory rather than jumping through these hoops.

I'm be interested to know how many people are currently not attending events but with this implemented would feel safe. Then I would be interested to see why this would make them feel safe.

I'm double jabbed and I really couldn't care about the vaccine status of the person sat next to me. If they are vaccinated or not they can still catch and pass covid, but because I am vaccinated I'm as protected as I'm going to be.

There are actually alot of people out there who are double jabbed and think this is just a step too far. Many seem to think those who oppose it are not double jabbed but that is not the case.

 

How does you having the vaccine protect me who has the vaccine? You can still catch and pass Covid as can I.

Threatening lockdown again is like threatening to take an xbox of a kid.

If we have to jump through hoops we need to do so because it has a massive benefit, not something for a miniscule benefit if that.

 

Doing this is better than doing nothing. That's your summary. You need something stronger than that. That's like saying we put an extra police officer out in Manchester tonight, because having an extra police officer is better than nothing.

 

you need to stop being so black and white about it. nothing 100% guarantees 0% transmission rate. with everyone in the stadium negative or vaccinated the risk of transmission or hospitalisation is reduced.

case in point, someone I know went to Scotland all double vaccinated all 3 shared the same hotel room and only one person caught it. another point, came back from holiday and I am 90% sure the person sat behind us had covid. was coughing the entire way home. noticed she took her mask off to cough which was infuriating.. either way we got contacted by test and trace as we were close to someone but both of us had negative tests.

maybe a real touchy subject, but is freedom of speech okay if it directly harms society?

I caught Covid last year and no one else in my house did so your "Scottish example" is no differnce to my own example when unvaccinated last year. This is actually something quite common seeing someone living in the same house getting it whilst the other people don't.

I also know someone vaccinated who has caught it before being vaccinated and again after being vaccinated.

The vaccine is there to prevent serious illness like the flu vaccine that is rolled out year on year. It's never ever been used as a way of stopping transmission.

One extra officer on top of the officers already there (and I did state extra before you twisted it) is a minimal impact.

I said something is better than nothing, as at the minute we have nothing. (Restrictions) therefore your analogy doesn’t work.

 

Cases are at 40k+ today in a population that is as vaccinated as it has ever been.

Thousands of vaccinated people are catching and spreading the virus every single day.

Does your vaccine not work unless other people around you have the vaccine?

I'm not getting the flu vaccine, does this mean I'm going to lay waste to thousands of people that I come into contact with this year?

 

We have nothing. So the vaccine which significant reduces the risk of death or hospitalisation is nothing?

Have you forgotten the 60k cases we were getting a day when we still had restrictions?

if only one person has a vaccine it would absolutely nothing. The same would be said if a large number of unvaccinated gathered in a large area. Hence the passports.

 

How are you "protecting" your fellow supporter ??
I presume it's because you have been triple jabbed but it doesn't make you any less capable of catching/spreading covid as anyone unvaccinated
As for lockdown even triple jabbed, flu jabbed, will be expected to lockdown should the government dictate

 

I have not once taken a test since this all began nor do I intend to take the vaccine in its present form until it can be proven it is completely save.
If you happen to be following things from down under and the court cases ongoing there you will have seen professors of medicine openly admit they don't know how safe the vaccine is at present and at the very earliest we won't know until at least 2023 to whether its successful or can causes future health issues.

I also suggest you look up a video called well done to the parents where a nurse who is trying get teenagers to be vaccinated again openly admits she doesn't know the safety of it nor does she believe enough research has been done yet she is trying to get kids vaccinated.

They are just a few who work in a medical environment who can't confirm if it's safe and don't know the answers so how can we trust the vaccine under those circumstance and why do you think people are now serving councils schools doctors councillors etc with liability notices.

 

We have real life data with regards to Covid passports. It's called Israel and even with a covid pass that has been in place for months, cases and deaths have gone up to a level that those without booster jabs have been relegated to second class citizens.

We have a large proportion of the population vaccinated, those who haven't taken up the vaccine now are unlikely to to do so and if you aren't going to make vaccines mandatory then you should respect their choice.

Personally I think it is the wrong choice but I won't see them treated as second class citizens on the back of it, especially when the bulk of these people fall into a section where the vast majority fully recover without issue.

I haven't see anything to suggest that covid passports are anything other than cohesion to get the vaccine as the transmission reduction benefit is not really measurable.

 

You forgot the signed disclaimers the pharmaceutical companies hold over the vaccine
