Interesting as I was looking at a return there recently.

The gorse is too dense and thick for the sheep to graze up here. They used to do controlled burns over the winter to keep it down, but the discovery of a small uncommon moth in the area means they're not allowed to. So the farmer keeps less sheep up here now.

Ironically makes chances of a large devastating wildfire sweeping across the thickly gorsed tops and down into Conwy more likely. Which would wipe out the moth and all else in its path.

And that my friends, is all I have to say about that.

I had the fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish wasn’t fresh, the batter was soggy and the chips were dry (£16.00).Wife had cheese and onion pie which consisted of mashed potato with a hint of cheese and onion (£16.50).
Called the manager over, told him the food quality was poor and inedible. He didn’t argue which suggests I wasn’t the first to complain.Paid for our drinks and left.
We’ve eaten there on many occasions with no complaint. On this occasion it’s clear they’ve started cutting corners and standards have slipped significantly. Won ‘t be going again.
