    Went to Victoria Hall in Settle on Tuesday, really great venue.

    The Albion Christmas Band were amazing, as usual.

    Nightmare drive home to Carlton, where my daughter lives.

    Every road in West Riding was closed, including M62.

    My favourite band ever, the Japanese rock band Boris, played there a couple of years ago. One of the best venues they've ever played apparently.

    Can't remember how old but we were talking to one of the workers and it is of some great age, the whole place is history.

    I had already booked to see them in London and arranged to travel down when the Boris show in Settle was announced. Such a shame not to see them there. A crazy place for them to play, but then the first time I saw them play was in a Salford church.
