So, you know that stubborn SWA armoured cable gland I was wrestling with the other day, well the soundness of the earthing arrangement got a thorough testing sometime recently. “The power to the cabin has gone off, can you come over to see why”. So there’s been groundworks and plumbing going on, but no one is fessing up to anything. So i tested the 16mm submain, yes it’s fckd and the 63A fuse had blown. Then the digger man says he may know something. You see at the moment it could be anywhere along a £600 buried submain, that’s what i am thinking. Turns out the plumber had been breaking some concrete, i guess to get a waste pipe out and he must have hit the cable with his breaker. He must have known, maybe he has a severely dinted chisel bit, but i couldn’t ask him as he buggered off as soon as i arrived on site. So now i have to joint it which will be a massive pain in the arse where it is and there’s little slack, plus it puts them back renting it. I wouldn’t mind but the cable was right there visible, just not enough care was taken. But at least it blew the hell out of the fuse once it shorted to the steel armour.

Had a shave. Off out for tea tonight to the Edinbane Inn. Thought I best tidy mesen up a bit. Not so much hipster beard more, just can’t be arsed having a shave.
