Because Conservatives won the last General Election with a large majority and have the right to take it full term.

We don't know what Labour have or don't.

What we do know though is that the Tories are shite and turned this country into a mess.

Agree. It would be hard for Labour to do any worse. But Labour are well known for shooting themselves in the foot. They also will not win with Starmer in charge

If they can't win now then they never will.

I think the Labour leader is fine. It just about if he has a good team around him.

No matter what though I feel after 12 years and where we are now that the country is in urgent need of a chance of party.

So let's get this straight, you don't like what socialist red tory have done so far yet you advocate an even stronger version of the same under the label 'Labour' ?

I repeat I only judge those in charge and after about 4 -6 leaders and the mess the country is now in then enough is enough. Time for a change and to give a different party a go.

This stick to colours is silly and out of date. I couldn’t careless but time for a change of direction.

well it will be given that there is no main stream party to the right of the Tories and every other option is to the left with the exception of the Unionists in Ulster

I hope that any one who is found to defraud what the government were trying to do during covid is hit with the full weight of the law.

But 29m in a 60bn hole and a 300bn total spend is basically a rounding error.

Sure. But it won't have been the only such example. And £29m for PPE that wasn't actually fit for purpose so was never used is still a disgrace. That £29m could have bought a lot of decent goods or services that would have been life-saving.
And the fact that this woman is a peer of the realm is another disgrace.

That £29m was only Michelle Mone's share of the profit...... allegedly. The contract value and the profit was much more

That's slightly speculative but not unexpected.

I don't know enough about the woman to be fair and while I'm not against anyone making profits if they've done so dishonestly then there's enough investigations going on at the moment that they'll hopefully get caught.

But to tie a £29m profit into the black hole we find ourselves in is clearly a leap.

    Dido Harding says HiYa Suckers!

    And Ta very much.

*Personally i reckon mps/government ministers should have "sponsored by" under their name when in the public eye, rather than the jokey rt. honourable, so you can see where the money is going to whether off-shore to avoid taxes or even trade unions to avoid their members terms and conditions getting shafted again.
