Its a cyclical virus, just like Flu.

There seems to be no intent to normalize society. I've said it before, there's an entirely different agenda at play here.

Purely out of curiosity FB, what do you think that agenda might be?

Had it been Corbyns lot in charge then I would have to agree, they would wreck this country just for the sake of it, no maybe we've got some things wrong but every call has been a hard one i'm sure...

Here we go, as the future with the excluded is revealed.

‘Direct discrimination’: extremely vulnerable fans barred from Carabao Cup final | Carabao Cup | The Guardian

Carabao Cup final: Man City & Tottenham to have 2,000 fans each at Wembley final - BBC Sport

The Telegraph has the same thing but that is behind a paywall which is why I haven't linked it so it's not just one side of the media.

The piece starts of with the clinically vulnerable being not allowed to attend but then go into the Under 18s not being allowed.

So Under 18s are of such a low risk they can be crammed into classrooms of 30, but it's not deemed safe for them to attend a football stadium at under 10% capacity.

There is also restricted travel to games with LFT being taken before boarding a coach or a train to attend the game.

I'm sorry but anyone who supports crap like this which is clearly a sign of what is intended down the line needs their head checking.

I was living in hope of seeing Bradford City in a play-off game or maybe in the final but if I can't take my daughter as she will be unvaccinated but is ok to sit in school everyday then I don't really know how I could explain that to her.

I can't believe the media in the most part are trying to pass this as good news that a few thousand will be allowed into the ground when the hoops being jumped through are just insane.

I honestly don't know, at least not fully. But as with most agenda's that play out on the world stage, it won't be for the benefit of the masses.

With the latest relaxation of restrictions I expect to see a rise in cases for the under 50s, as they are still mostly unvaccinated. However, I expect over 50s, who are mostly vaccinated (to some degree) to continue to see a fall in numbers.

The higher risk will be when people pack into poorly ventilated indoor places; by then the vaccination programme will be further down the line and, hopefully, that will see us through that stage as well.

I'm not sure when I'll be making my first pub visit but, unless things go badly wrong (which I'm not expecting), it won't be too long.

Partly agree. The relaxations announced will no doubt cause an increase in infections. All relaxations do.

The key however is whether people actually care about it without another pushing a different scare story (probably variants) alongside it.

A second person I know has now suffered a blood clot resulting in a bleed on the brain days after have the astrazeneca jab, thankfully both have survived. But as someone under 30 with no health conditions it’s a no on that jab for me I’m not arsed if people say you’re as likely to be hit by lightening or win the lottery, I’d rather take my chances.

Don’t see the connection sorry. As a fit young adult I’m less likely to get ill from Covid than the jab, I understand why people who are more at risk are having it but I’m happy to take my chances. It’s all about risk V reward for me.

the risk of death from covid is so low for under 30s that the risk from the vaccine itself is actually broadly similar.

on a more upbeat note got my first day back at work tomorrow. Very excited which I never for a second thought I would say about work but it's been a weird year

The fact the you know 2 persons that have had blood clots is alarming when we're advised it's very low in numbers who are effected.

Is that for deaths though? As neither died I imagine they’ll go under some side effect list, even though one didn’t eat for two weeks and has to go back for brain scans. But hey hoe all part of the minor side effects...

There’s a reason under 30’s now get a choice of vaccine for when overs don’t, as I said before it’s risk and reward. I’ll be asking for the Pfizer one.

I believe I had a blood clot after the Astra jab, Paramedics rushed me to LGI, 4 days in hospital, Brain scans and MRI scans and treatment with blood thinners got me to slowly recover, Scary but seem to have recovered
I think they are more common than they are letting on

The blood clot risk, from catching the virus, is 100 times higher than normal. This is far higher than the risk from any of the vaccines.

A sizeable proportion (around 30%) of those getting blood clots, after catching the virus, have been under 30.

And some really positive news coming out from the huge Zoe study.

This is not saying we should all rush out and immediately go back to normal, but it is a green light to carrying on with the government's steady lifting of restrictions.
