No it is the seats themselves, They are smaller than the existing seats so much so each row is shorter than the existing rows by 2/3 ft so now is a gap at the end of each row, They are also angled back on the backrest so give less room for the person behind, Mason did try to rectify it by getting the installers to adjust to no avail, They are just the wrong seats

Thanks for the clarification! I sit further back, so didn’t know that. So in essence all the seats in the lower tier of the JCT/Main Stand, be they new or old, are inadequate.

So those coming down from the main stand would be forced onto the road.

Can not see that getting past the safety committee.

Easier would bel not to allow people up after the game and make them leave through the school car park

Most that go that way already walk down the road; I also think that section of road should be closed to traffic, for a few minutes after the match anyway. It seems to happen at most away grounds.

And there is a pavement on the other side of the road.

A lot do walk on the road but the officia route will be on that path. What people do is their own decision but the official exit routes will be with the least crossing of roads.

As I said the easiest way would be to close the steps and make people walk round back of the school but when that was tried people moaned about the extra walk

The toilets are indeed in a state.

If we’re not going to smarten them up, I’d suggest renaming the facilities to the ‘Edin Rahic Suite’.

    Seems fitting.

Answering your post, it's not hard to understand.
You posted "I’m confused Is Glenn Ackroyd now in charge of Operations ? I thought it was Paula Watson !".
stay with me you'll get it soon, and I replied Glenn said "I've reported this to Paula Watson, Head of Operations ?.".
So I'd take I'd take it that Glenn Ackroyd is not in charge of Operations, but Paula Watson is, are you OK with that explanation.

Closing the road for a short time after the game would probably be the most sensible idea, but it still wouldn't alter the fact that the space at the top of the stairs is too restricted. Without widening the footpath as well you wouldn't be able to allow more people in the same space at the same time.

Got to agree. I sit in the Bantams Bar and the toilets are not good. I go with my Dad who is 80 and has a problem with needing the toilet a lot (sure it will happen to all of us at some point!) They are certainly not the nicest. We are not asking for anything palatial, but somewhere clean and tidy and with the availability to lock the door and then wash your hands afterwards with warm water and be able to dry them isn't much to ask!

In the Main Stand/JCT Lower tier there is one main toilet at the back of Block E. It is grim! There is one hand drier in the entrance walkway at the end nearer E Block (I assume there is a similar one near D Block), given queues it is often difficult to access and is totally inadequate for the amount of people using it. Additionally there is no hot water! When I went to the Peterborough FA Cup game we were in the upper tier. The toilets there were not as grim! So I guess if you only use corporate facilities @Glenn Ackroyd@Glenn Ackroyd then you may not be aware of the situation in the main parts of the stadium.

And you can not widen it by narrowing the road so the only option would be to widen it down the stairs which I don’t think would be possible.

I sit in the Midland Road stand and can only comment on the ladies toilets. They are not palatial, but are clean and with soap and warm water, so I am surprised that other parts of the stadium are not of the same standard. The electric hand dryers are woeful though.

On another matter I can't find anywhere what the policy is on bringing drinks into the stadium. For medical reasons I have to have a ready supply of drinking water and normally like to bring a smaal reusable camping type plastic bottle with it in rather than have to queue and buy a disposable plastic bottle that isn't good for the environment. Some stewards seem to object to this whilst others don't have a problem. It would be good if the club had a clear rule somewhere about what is allowed. People with metal coffee flasks don't seem to have the same issue bringing them in. You can buy a plastic drinks bottle inside the ground, so it can't be because it presents a safety risk can it? It would be useful to know what is and what is not allowed.
