Why wouldn't McCall be held to the same standard as anyone else?

Maybe in his first stint he was given a lot of leeway, just as various other clubs who appoint legends in early managerial posts tend to give them a little longer - but I see absolutely no evidence that he was given excessive leeway in his second stint, nor do I understand why you think he will be here?

Stuart needs to produce results or he'll get sacked. The only difference between sacking Stuart and Colin Todd is that people will be sad to see us sack McCall.

Cant argue with any of that research.

Let me see if I can reframe the question.

None of those you listed won anything with us, some had much better resumes than McCall, and win percentages don't get you promoted.

So of those you have listed, the good, the bad and the ugly, which ones would you give not just one, not just two but three different goes at being the manager of Bradford City?

My concern is not McCall per se. Though I have huge reservations about his management skills and ability to deal with tough situations.

My issue is that this is a third go round and in 13 or so years of front line management all he has to show is some runners up medals and nothing else in that time.

It is for that reason that I accused the club, and those who supported his third appointment, of accepting mediocrity.
