As far as fitness is concerned,you have to remember the team chasing the ball runs out of steam quicker than the team with the ball!

So,is our fitness,or lack of it,due to not being able to keep the ball?

That's where I think the problem lies.

 

The rate were going through staff it can only be a few weeks until Mrs Rahic resigns/gets sacked

 

Or is named as the new fitness coach ( Part time its cheaper )

 

Having seen the fitness levels and the injury list I am not surprised he got harsh words.You earn respect by doing a good job judging by what we saw he didn’t.

Hopkin has seen straight away the Squads lack of fitness. Unfortunately it’s a lot harder to put it right during the season

 

So he says he had a wonderful 18 months but had to leave on a point of principle. Edin was in charge for the whole 18 months and apparently has been hands on the whole time micro managing people. So what changed after 18 months that made him leave? Was it just the case of SM being sacked? If not what suddenly changed to make it unworkable?

 

He finds it preferable working for Blackpool.

Says a lot about working for Bradford City.

 

Or it will take him 18 months to work out they are nuts like it took him at City

 

But no injuries or questions about fitness this season we had no fitness coach for a few weeks when Robert Lossau left even though the club new he was only here for a short while, great organisation.

 

Maybe so.

A defence like “well they weren’t fit anyway!” Isn’t here not there.
Edin shouldn’t be making the club a difficult place to work.

 

I'd agree shame Edin didnt think it a serious issue as I said without a fitness coach for 2/3 weeks, most employers would have had a date for Lossau leaving and made sure someone was in place to take over, good businesses would have got the new fitness coach in before Lossua left to give the new guy a run down on each individual players fitness.

 

What suddenly changed though after 18 months that it became a point of principle.

It's just another sign that things are not going well at all. Folk can brush it off or make excuses for Edin all they like, a few more weeks of abject performance on the pitch might be what is required, same as people are saying an upturn in performance will make those critical of our owners maybe less vociferous. It may not. It's pretty much all down to Hopkin now and the appetite this squad have to turn it round. Any short comings on quality we have, and there appear to be a few including injuries, are going to have to be countered by at the very least working our socks off and Hopkin getting us doing the basics right. It might not be enough over the season though. I hope he is just left to get on with it and can somehow turn it round.
