As expected Alexander has been charged with misconduct for confronting the referee after the match. He's got until Monday to accept the standard 1 game touchline ban or appeal it. He's admitted in his pre-match interview he was wrong to go onto the pitch and should have waited until later.
The sensible option for him is to admit the charge and take the game touchline ban which be applied to the Doncaster game on Tuesday then everyone can put it behind them and move on to the rest of the season.

 

Yes. It makes no sense to appeal when the game he would be banned for, is a non event.

And GA give no indication of appealing, blaming himself for forgetting the rules

 

He's just said on the radio that he won't be appealing, the only sensible option. Appealing would just deal the ban and probably means he ends up with a 2 game ban which would end up being league games because the appeal wouldn't be heard before Tuesday.
