    Agreed. We all remember, the problems poor Ched Evans had, an innocent man!

    Nice to see him scoring goals for Fleetwood and back at Sheffield United.

    Jessica Ennis should hang her head in shame!!

    Big difference with Evans and Johnson, Evans had his conviction over turned. He took a willing woman back to his hotel room. Johnson is still in prison and knew full well he was meeting a 15 year old girl.

    At the time of Ennis comments Evans was a convicted rapist who had raped a drunk young lady.

    Correct mate but she never apologised to Ched for 'jumping the gun'. She's a member of the PC brigade - should have kept her mouth closed, she wasn't in the hotel room.... Coincidently, she's had her name stripped from the stand and it was later named after an estate agents instead. Sheffield United said it was due to a sponsorship deal. ;-)

    Maybe she should have read the case notes. The conviction was a farce. Still Jess Ennis got the PR boost she was looking for on the back of it.

    No that was before his conviction was overturned - they wanted to take him back following his release from prison - Oldham also wanted him but they both got bad press and subsequently withdrew their interest.

    It really was a farcical conviction, even of morals or balance of probabilities were applied!

    Evans entered a room where the woman already was. He did not bring her back. He also left via a fire escape.

    Yes but that's not the point - they didn't resign him. He had to go through a retrial and then when his conviction was overturned he played for chesterfield, he signed for them in 2016. Ennis's name was removed from the stand at Sheffield Utd in 2015.

    Well the jury decided she consented to two men having sex with her, a jury consisting of 12 men and women. He left through a fire escape because he was a well known international footballer cheating on his Mrs. Not a thing to be proud of, terrible behaviour - but also not a crime.

    Yes without hearing the full facts. Hence the overturned decision. He's innocent and currently playing for Fleetwood scoring goals!

    I'll tell you something tho - he's scored 8 goals so far this season - not many would be turning him away from VP as a potential signing.

    I bet a lot still would. To be honest he wouldn't come but also I think it would be a bad signing as it would split the fans just as we are trying to pull together
