Well Eisa is gonna have to show this appearent potential sooner rather than later, 10 games in league 1 and 85 in league 2 at the age of 26 suggests he's either a very late developer or he's found his level

Theres absolutely no guarantee that the group of players we've currently assembled will be a success, the only thing guaranteed is that Vernam will get at least one season of league 1 football. Something he may never get at Bradford. All the rest is pure conjecture

Can we have certainty of a whole season fitness from a player like Eisa who was out injured most of last season.

Yes Vernam has 8 goals and 4 assists this season. Eisa in his last season with Scunthorpe had 9 goals and 3 assists so just as effective

It would be bad if he had signed for a rival, but i don't think he can stay fit for long enough

We definitely can't have certainty, but prior to last season am I correct in thinking Eisa had a good fitness record? Fingers crossed his injury woes are behind him.

Eisa I couldn’t comment on and not sure how anyone on here could either way tbh, unless we have some avid watches of Scunny. If he’d not got injured all season he’d have a similar amount of career games played as Vernam at a similar age, there is probably something there we’ll just have to wait and see. Hopefully his injuries are behind him, because regardless of stats players become less and less important and useful if they spend half a season out(or more).

I agree. When I saw him play for scunny. he looked good. Last year even the pie vendors pulled a hammy. Give him a season and let’s see.

Good luck to him if he's managed correctly Lincoln have a player who's very capable. I would have liked him to stay mainly because you could see how good he could have been since Hughes came in but if you judge him on his time as a whole he has been inconsistent.

Don't know why people are loosing it about him and Paudie going really they are both part of a team that only managed a 14th placed finish in league 2 they can be replaced.

Vernam was a good player. A very good player for this level. Hughes could of helped him realise his best potential. But it is what it is. He now has a chance to showcase his abilities for his hometown club in a League above. Best of luck to him.

No need for people on here to get salty about it. Its just the way football is. Yes he was the type of player a team like us needs, but there is no reason for us to not be able to find better players to replace him with. Whether they happen to be permanent transfers, or a loan

We all think that don't we? Let's see how he's doing by the new year and take it from there. If he's ripping the division up I'll admit I was wrong. Will you if he's disappeared?

I always admit when I'm wrong, it just doesn't happen very often. Last one I got wrong was Tom Eaves, thought he was just a useless beanpole but to be fair the lad proved me wrong.
