Me and @NorthernMonkey did........................................great bit of unselfish running from Cook taking the defender away.
Yes I'm only joking.

Bradford City AFC is delighted to announce the Deadline Day signing of exciting young forward Calum Kavanagh from Middlesbrough, for an undisclosed fee.

Can't misfire any worse than our current forwards. Probably worth a punt although is a very underwhelming signing

I simply dont get why folk are angry at this signing this was always on the cards .............a loan player doing nothing at his parent club DEAL DONE ............a permenant signing to bolster our forward line whose got a record of 3 goals in 30 odd games DEAL DONE ............. honestly why folk are remotely shocked is laughable

Found this quote on Kavanagh. Sounds to me like he’s worth a chance.
The 20-year-old has always scored for fun in Middlesbrough’s youth teams – a goal every 95 minutes for their Under-18s, every 118 minutes for the U21s and every 78 minutes for the U23s – but didn’t show the clinical finishing for which he’s renowned at underage level in previous League Two loans with Harrogate and Newport. Kavanagh’s reaction? To plunge properly into the deep end by joining League Two Bradford on a two-and-a-half-year deal.ahar964 likes this. -

Would prefer to see him play before passing any judgement on him. Good luck lad.

Let’s hope he’s better than the last young Irish player we had. What’s Costelloe doing these days?
