It was such a depressing place to watch football. Preferred it when we played at Leeds Road and Elland Road, whilst VP was being rebuilt . I can understand why they played at Odsal though, wanting to keep us in Bradford, but the ground just wasnt equipped to host 2nd tier football

How can it drop? Do the council start paying you to stay there?

    Hypothetical money no object scenario.

The best would be imo, the gratton site along Thornton road and some of the derelict looking old mill builds going towards the centre. Demolish the lot, the whole areas a dump anyway and build a state of the art stadium there with a hotel on and big walk way into the centre finishing at the Odeon. Make it look green as well, make the place look iconic.

Then you’ve still got a city centre stadium for both clubs, which gives you the footfall and Bradford as a whole would look far better.

Far to much money would be needed though sadly. Where are the billionaire, Bradford sport loving philanthropists when you need them! Oh and a council with vision to actually allow it.

I think bottom of Manchester Road, or around Forster Square would be ideal, close enough to already existing infrastructure. The old Gratton site is just a little too far out. Hypothetically of course.

Foster square would be perfect, just move the shops there into broadway. There are to many buildings and not enough tenants in the City.

Twenty years ago on a warm summer evening with 20k+ in for a game against Leeds it was ok. Not been in over 13 years but it looks a right shithole these days.

It was a great bit of business by the Bulls. They sold the lease for a pile of cash, that they needed, and are now not tied to the dump. Allegedly still paying same rent now as when they owned the lease

They pay the rfl 70k per year now ... they paid peppercorn before

Now they are paying the rfl back on a loan forever unless they leave

Is it the beginning of the end for Rugby in Bradford, once again as football some owners completely irresponsible I believe it all started around the time the Bulls signed Iestyn Harris ?.
