Good to see he has secured another managerial position with a club he played for.

I think he will do well there

 

Thought the red for Phillips was harsh, Barnsley battling away for 70 minutes in that heat inside Wembley Stadium eventually took its toll.

 

Phillips being off the ground and going over the top did it.

It definitely wasn't two footed, but it was about as bad an attempted tackle as I can remember seeing.

I'd have given him a red just for it being so technically awful.

 

Left Sheffield wednesday weeks after getting them back into the Championship.

 

It really is. They've lost their head of recruitment as well and only have 14 senior players on the books. Shambles.

It’s a strange one. I suppose we’ll find out eventually whether he jumped or was pushed.

 

Clinton Morrison was on Sky earlier and from what he was saying, it sounds more like the latter.

 

Now't surprises me in football any more mate, apparently at times their football was a little difficult to watch, but he got them promoted something I would have though the owner wanted, big call for the new guy seeing what the squad that he takes over is like and then trying to bring players in to improve it, tough call IMO.

 

I didn’t realised they had sacked Bruno until last night. Promoted and sacked???

 

He asked for a new contract with an update salary after promotion. Sheff weds board agreed to meet with him, Moore asked for 4 times the money he was on currently...... Sheff told him to do one. Cant imagine he was that badly paid in the first place? But wanted huge money.

 

Is that speculation or fact? Sounds so far fetched to be inaccurate perhaps?

They played much better at QPR despite only drawing ..

 

Just 1 clean sheet in 14 and 1 win in their last 12, think the writing was on the wall for Moore. Although that squad isn't good enough for that level.

 

A 13% win percentage (3 wins in 23 games) will always have the chairman/ owner getting twitchy.
