Labours policy is both laughable and deceitful, There can be no negotiated customs policy it is set in EU law and they have been told this numerous times by the EU leadership but still peddle the deceit , If they stay a member of the customs union then they have to accept free movement of people, They have to accept the jurisdiction of the EU courts, They have to agree to pay in to the EU budget and agree to accept all current and future EU laws with no say in the making of them,
As usual with Labour policies it is a dogs breakfast made for the gullible left and to get headlines rather than a serious choice and would actually be far worse for the country to adopt Labours policy than stay in the EU

I'm not disagreeing with you that Labour's Brexit policy is fanciful. Several posts back I described it as Corbyn's preferred form of unicorn.
But the fact is that Corbyn has been a Brexiteer for many years and he (and others) regards Labour's plan as a form of Brexit. Which perfectly makes my point that Brexit means different things to different people.

Some people voted for a hard Brexit and some people voted for a soft Brexit which, as you recognise, are two completely different things and are mutually incompatible. Yet they were counted as the same thing at the referendum. That's totally illegitimate and undemocratic.

If you took away all the soft Brexit votes Remain would have won the referendum comfortably.
The hard Brexiteers can't have it both ways. If they are happy to have had soft Brexit votes counted as the same as theirs then they have to accept that all forms of Brexit are up for negotiation, not just their preferred version.

You did. But the polls showed that millions of others only decided which way to vote in the last week or so. Many of those were not committed hard Brexiteers like you, who would leave at any cost. They were persuaded by promises of leaving, stopping the financial contributions and free movement, but keeping all the benefits.

It's the hard Brexiteer delusion that everyone voted for their hardline version of an undefined Brexit; they didn't.

Corbyn has always been in the past against membership of the EU but he is a weak leader bullied by his brexit minister who is a devout remainer,

Theresa May is meeting the arch-Brexiteers this afternoon. Things will start to happen later today.

She has miss handled the whole leave process and should pay the price and be replaced with a leave supporter
Hopefully parliament will not then be able to sit for ten days :):):):):)

I see an estimated million people marched in London yesterday and another 5 million+ have signed the online petition to revoke article 50.

If they had been as arsed about voting in the referendum then we would not be in the position we are in right now.

No one thought the UK would really vote leave and yet it happened purely down to remainers apathy and complacency.

Now they are trying to make themselves feel better by marching and completing petitions.

    Too little too late.

British politics has been given a right kicking and now we can really see who we have representing us.

Tories and Labour are as split as ever.

We need a new party to get behind-a peoples party if you like-who will lead us out of the EU and fight for this country.

Marching or signing petitions, when it gets past 17 million will give it some attention,

Interesting that in EU law if we leave and go back we will have to agree to adopt the Euro,

    Not a million -

Almost certainly not. Experts in crowd modelling told @WiredUK they estimated the figure was somewhere between 312,000 and 400,000.

I posted nobody in their right mind would vote for May's deal with the backstop as it is, unfortunately I can't see that being brought to the House Of Commons (unless Bercow deems it has changed enough to be re-voted on) which I don't think it has.
It very much looks like the remainers who lost the democratic vote will actually be the winners with a very watered down version of brexit, it's rather ironic the voting cards for the Metropolitan District Council elections have dropped through our letter box's today, is there really any point in voting for any party that says one thing and does the other.

Laughable that the MPs vote to take control from the government to move things forward and then cannot agree itself upon an answer to the problems they themselves created, Sack the lot of them,

She has been a disaster on Brexit and deserves to go, She agreed an exit proposal from the EU that was designed to put the country at a disadvantage foolishly, She appointed 3 Brexit ministers and then conspired to get rid of them when they tried to do a deal she as a remainer opposed, She called a disastrous general election when she had a good majority to get Brexit through and then threw that away by losing that election and running a now minority government that is in opposition to Brexit, For the country and the conservative party she has been rubbish in her judgments and we are well rid of her before she does any more damage.
