Is this the same Dominic Cummings who when still part of the inner sanctuary, the very same man who broke the Covid lockdown rules when he went to Durham, being called all sorts by many on here and in the country generally, now every word he utters is the Gospel truth, you couldn't make it up :sob::sob:.

Cummings Twitter account is the best thing on there. He's clearly got a screw loose but it's hilarious if you can decipher it :joy:

Seems like another thing that "wouldn't be moved on" is being renegotiated with some of the concessions from the EU on Northern Ireland sounding eminently sensible.

It's a very positive and unusual move from the EU that they are being proactive and flexible on this. Gives me a bit more hope that some of the issues can actually be ironed out which is of course the sensible thing do rather than just saying "the deal is the deal".

Not sure the UK will accept it as the continued involvement of the ECJ seems like their red line but without having read the full details it seems to me that it's a decent offer. The secondary point is that there will always be some leakage from NI to ROI regardless of what the rules are so are the EU/ECJ flexible enough to accept this in practice?

I think they may compromise in that the ECJ has supremacy on trade only matters but for everything else the UK courts take precedence. Failing that the rule of the ECJ should be abolished in all of the UK including NI

Well I seriously believe you are in some sort of home, You make up things I have never posted and then castigate and call me names for it, You could hardly make it up but you manage it, It would be amusing but for the fact I worry you are sane

I think you will find you said in post 558753 that the economy is growing fast. Which isnt what the papers are saying today or yesterday. Therefore, you talk a load of twaddle.

The questioning of my sanity is a bit rich given you cant remember what you posted a few hours ago.

    Question:

Did those who voted for brexit do so after being influenced by Boris and if so do you now question the validity of his arguments then based on what you know now?

Its not about if brexit is right or wrong. Just simply was your decision influenced by and has it now changed.

Influenced only by what we thought was a true blue Tory government, alas we find ourselves with a severe socialist green outfit that helps nobody...

I voted for Brexit for the simple reason I believe it is in the countries best long term interest, Nothing else was considered, Certainly not short term politicians of any side.

He is uniquely qualified to do nothing else, He has to pass the time somehow and seeing as he had a hand in creating the poorest in our society he should help them
