Mr Habib told Express.co.uk: "Remainers in the United Kingdom perpetrated Project Fear during our negotiations with the EU.
"They said the UK could not leave the EU without serious detriment to itself.
"They weakened our negotiating position tremendously.
"The truth was always the inverse. It is the EU that needs us and our markets."
Mr Habib added: "This work undertaken by Facts4EU.Org reveals clearly the damage done to the EU's economy by the UK departing their failing project.
"We should have marshaled this negotiating strength and driven a tougher bargain for ourselves.

    More positive news
Here we go! UK hails 'Amazonian Brexit boost' from bumper £6billion Brazilian trade deal.

Brexit wonderwoman Liz Truss nears ANOTHER Brexit deal - £17.5bn on line in talks today
INTERNATIONAL Trade Secretary Liz Truss is closing in on a £17.5billion trade deal with Australia, as negotiations get back underway.

    More EU problems
Brussels requests that the Trade and Cooperation Agreement remains provisionally applied until April 30 because of holdups in its attempt to translate the 1,240-word document into the bloc’s more than 20 languages. A Government spokesman expressed “disappointment” at the EU’s failure to prepare for the European Parliament to vote on the pact by the previously agreed deadline, February 28. They said: “Today we have agreed to extend the deadline for the EU to ratify the deal until 30 April.

They arent doing themselves any favours doing what there doing with the shell fish situation, these are the same fishermen that supplied the EU with shell fish for decades before and under the same conditions/agreement.
I know fellow posters have said in the past the EU aren't going to make it easy but that is pathetic as is the situation where lorry drivers cant eat their snap as meat bread ETC can't be brought into the EU I have no doubt that's why Sir David Frost has been sent out there to try and sort if out.
Similar with the fishing agreement Ireland are saying the French are fishing waters that they know are out of their jurisdiction and they shouldn't be fishing them, we need to show the EU we can and we will play their game, get a couple of navy vessels patrolling these waters

I don't think we can have too many complaints over the shellfish situation Bronco. The rules for non-EU countries have been the same for years so it's not like they've changed the stance on the actual rules.

Yes, there was indication that the rules would be relaxed and maybe the decision not to do that could be viewed as a bit petty but in terms of the actual rules i don't think we can have too many complaints.

    in other words...

"oh no the remainers have a different political opinion than us"
"we didnt foresee this when we came up with brexit"
"that must be why our deal is crap, because remainers exist and we didnt think about that"
"other than that we are super duper clever and theres nothing at all economically bad about brexit"
    "at all...."
    "despite the evidence"

I agree, compared with Mother Theresa and her Brexit negotiators hes done a great job.
Sir David has gone back to Brussels to discuss various things I'm sure the big on is Article 16 NI protocol.

If you go into a situation full of risk such as brexit without anticipating the risks to your negotiating strength, such as you claim this has been, then who is the fool?

Weve been out out just 7 weeks and you think everything should have been sorted, I see three arr few on here commenting about the strong £££££, they were quite happy telling us what brexit had done to our currency when it was low.

Bronco you post stuff in support of brexit but then expect people to be quiet about the bad sides?

I know that there all the fuss around the £350m bus but it would be interesting to go back and check all the things from the remain side and see how many have stacked up.

I mean, it's sad that some of the fishery companies have been royally shafted but it's difficult to be too excited about it when the downsides were supposed to be a 18% drop in houseprices, complete crash of the pound, 1980s levels of unemployment and complete destruction of the economy while the EU thrived.

Wasnt it supposed to cut red tape? it created more

Wasnt it supposed to bring sovereignty? Tell that to NI and to anyone trading with them

Wasnt it supposed to be really easy? and yet you are complaining remainers have an opinion different to yours. And yet you complain the EU enforce the same rules we enforce on third countries and always have.

Do you want me to go and find more examples of how you are wrong?

We are not going back into the EU. I cant see anyone voting for it now after the vaccine fiasco. Even I am angry with them. So why not just have some humility and admit that it isnt and never was going to be good for us economically and/or politically. Thats not why you voted leave.

So put your big boy pants on and actually be honest. Stop trying to make it seem like brexits shit doesnt stink. You voted for it, dont blame it on remainers for the deal not being as was described pre-vote. Its not us that made the EU negotiate the way they have. Brexit was your vote, you, not me. Whichever way the river flows after that is because of you not me.

Did you seriously expect things to run smoothly from day one, there was no precedence set so it was completely new to both parties, no one expected the EU to make it easy they have to look like they are being tough/strong so no others EU members follow (which I believe they will given time) the comment with regards the £ was a little tongue in cheek, just reminding you remainer's that currency does fluctuate, although I believe the £ will only go one way and that is up.

And doing brexit on the back of a pandemic was always going to make the situation more difficult, the Budget Rishi Sunak delivers on Wednesday will be far different to the one I believe he would have delivered after exiting the EU under normal circumstances.

It looks like Airbus are more than happy to let the UK carry on building the wings for Airbus. at the Broughton site in North Wales.

"Airbus backs Britain despite €1.1bn loss"

Despite a fall in passenger plane deliveries and a £950million (€1.1billion) loss, Airbus has backed its UK operations following the Brexit trade deal.

Chief executive of Airbus, Guillaume Faury, said the company was "very committed to the UK" and the two plants near Bristol and Wales were "very competitive".

He explained how securing a trade deal with the EU meant the company had a "credible and long-term partnership".

Mr Faury continued: "We really like the environment we have there, it's very competitive, we have a strong relationship with our partners over there, the Government, and projects for the future."

Do you actually read and understand posts before replying with drivel, and for the record I do believe we will be massively better off econimically and not the last country to leave unless it drastically reforms,
It was not me saying the remainers were undermining any agreement it was the article I posted, And of course there was plenty of MPs contacting the EU behind the negotiators back,
Imagine as a Union rep trying to agree a deal with the bosses and some workers saying to the boss behind the reps back they will take less, Do you think he would get a good deal? Leaving the EU will be good for the UK on every level once it has settled down
