First thing, can we get the defeat incoming thread merged with this please.
Nearly 18k tickets sold according to the clubs media team this morning.
Maybe just over 19k come Saturday imo.
This match sees us over a quarter of the way through the season.
If we win, which I can see us doing, then that's 24 points at an average of 2 points a game.
We are averaging 1.75 goals per game in all competitions but our goals form has really kicked on in the last 8, averaging 2 a match.
Unless Stockport come and shut up shop then that trend will surely continue as we are the highest chance creators in the league.
Stockport look like a team who like to attack but haven't turned possession in matches into many clear cut chances.
It might be another match like Walsall where we sit back and soak up some pressure then counter at pace.
Cook will be desperate to get back to scoring from open play, Banks faces a late fitness test, but the minutes in the week against Leicester for the 2nd string will have been beneficial so I see an influence from the bench again.

Got a gut feeling that this could be a season turning point for County big away following there gonna well up for this ............. just think over the next five games this will be the toughest ............. hope they prove me wrong though a win will be huge for us going into two dodgy away fixtures

 

Anyone else go to that Stockport County away game where they ended up doing the double over us having only won 6 games all season conceeding 102 goals. They won 1 away game all season.

Infact by the time of the away game in Mid March, Stockport had won 3 games, 2 of them against us.

 

I think it is absolutely irrelevant how "up for it" Stockport will be...what counts is what Bradford City team turn up

Play the right system and to our strengths, against a team like County, and we know it'll be a walloping. Unfortunately our performances so far this season have been frustratingly laboured in periods, erratic and inconsistent at times...and still picked up good results which shows how utterly sh1te the league is! There for the taking

I’d say go Mayo then down onto Manchester road, imagine it’ll still be busier than normal as a few will do same but better than going anywhere near Wakefield road.
