He basically said it’s a huge concern that even though he (Morais) is clear of the managers expectations of the players, and the players (as per Shepherds interview) say they are clear what the manager expects, that they perform like they did tonight. He essentially questioning players ability to follow instruction and why that is.

The “highlights”

 

I've defended Smallwood as recently as earlier this season but you can't defend his mobile deficiencies when he's also constantly turning the ball over like last night. If he can't retain possession and help us move the ball then he's literally out of any positive contribution and is now only bringing weaknesses.

 

Can we talk about how Halliday is still playing? He went from a reliable 7/10 to one of the worst footballers I've ever seen play for us. He can't pass, he can't cross, he can't header and he can't defend

 

What a load of guff from Alexander, the guy is losing all credibility.
According to him he isn't to blame for the pap served up, he knows football and tells the players what to do. So he's either filling their head with bollocks and anti-football or they've just stopped listening to him.
As someone stated, some of those performances tonight were Sunday League standard.
Something has to happen, I know Rupp doesn't really get football but he's a successful business man and he must recognise the ineptitude, repeated failings and total dissatisfaction of the fans. For all our sakes Stefan, if you're not going anywhere just yet please remove some of the clowns responsible for this mess - Sparks, Alexander and Gent for starters
