I don’t think you are fully understanding what was said. I’ll listen again this morning but he said from memory .

We are in the top seven divisional budget… ( Wasn’t last year in the top six?)
Rupp had invested at least £X,000,000 extra into the CLUB ( not playing budget) this season., with salary increases taking up a substantial portion ( of ALL staff) .

I’ll listen again later , remember, it’s all in the words .

I’m open minded so no axe being ground Grumps.

Trev, you are having a laugh yes? It was like playing with 10 men. He didn’t offer nuisance value.

Divine intervention to find Oliver a new club. Worst signing since toothpaste.

They did say last night that they’ve moved well away from self sufficiency.

Again though I'll ask you. Is it the playing budget that's increased or the overall budget because if he's just putting more money in because of inflation and rising costs then it's not really what we were promised by Rupp himself.

To be applauded if that helps the playing budget. I now wait to see the actual and factual detail.

Well it looks like we won’t know until the books go into Company House, whereby my very own Financial advisor @Dennis@Dennis will scrutinise them with a fine tooth comb.

Unfortunately, we won't find out whether more money has gone into this season's playing budget until about March 2026 when the club releases its accounts to Companies House. In the mean time, we will be able to confirm whether Rupp has injected some equity into the club for whatever purpose in about 3 months time.

ps At least I now understand my place in life! ;)

That’s only because of inflation , lower income and less money generated from selling academy youngsters last season, thus warranting additional investment from the owner.
I assume , probably rightly , if he hadn’t put the money in we would have made an equivalent annual loss?( @Dennis@Dennis ?)
