I don’t know much of Humphry’s prior to his City career, but on Saturday he looked very well suited to a Striker role, central or wide. So much so I’d question how much of his qualities are lost if he was to play deeper.

Did he get credited with an assist? He was the last City player to touch the ball before the goalscorer anyway

If he makes more than half a dozen we are in trouble, Monkey. poor defender even at L2 level.

Thankfully all of the new lads made strong debuts, and even Baldwin and Halliday should be ahead of him as backup options now

Yeah, it's what I expected. I didn't really think you'd be daft enough to honestly believe Neill Byrne is good enough for league one.

    3 things from that:
1: love the amount of youngsters involved, bodes well for the future.
2: if ever a goal deserved an assist it was for Neufville and that backheel.
3: Getting a man crush on Neufville.

I have no idea how much we paid for him but it’s looking like grand larceny at the moment.

Neufville? He came on a free transfer.

Not sure there's suddenly a plethora of youngsters. Only 2 players on Saturday were under 25.

Strong, pressed well, good movement into position and wasn't afraid to have a pop - plus a general nuisance for their defence. The only thing he didnt do was score but on another day he would have had 1-2.

Correct. But he was in demand so his signing on fee will be have been a decent sum I expect - Bradford is a long way from London!

He keeps those performances up and we could have our first 7 figure player since Wells.

He was shockingly good . That back heel looks even more outrageous from that angle.

Sometimes with wide men you can have a good one that can put in a bunch of crosses, but when a good defence can deal with them, you end up craving a bit of creativity and an x factor to switch things up.

That cross was pure x factor. Very hard to deal with, and totally unexpected.

Let's hope we've found a lad who can unlock those mean defences.
