I think the problem is that it's not really been mentioned. We weren't really kept in the loop.

 

Hah, i still stand by what i said.. in that overall we are a better team without him.. however there are certain games.. ie when teams park the bus he will make an impact, like yesterday at Grimsby and the previous games like Northampton and Peterborough he would have made a difference..

 

So basically any game the current team cant beat/hasnt won....would be better with Cook in the team.

And I suppose all the games we win, we wouldnt win as many with Cook in the team.

I think he's saying that overall we'd win more games with our current line up but there are certain games where he'd be a better option depending on which type of defence we are up against.

We are in for a season of this I suppose. Every game we win you'll get some posters saying we wouldn't have if he'd played and every game we don't win some posters will be on here saying we would've won if he'd played.

 

What is the "current line up" though? GA has already chopped and changed a lot to keep the fitness and sharpness high so we simply can't say that the good run is purely down to any individual team selection.

 

In the league, apart from the Peterborough game it's been virtually the same line up other than Lapslie coming in for Sarcevic last week.

 

A good example maybe Donny on Sat. Pearson their centreback , decent in the air like Lewis, but a carthorse on the floor, horses for course says Swan?
