Cooky will thrive off the service from the wide areas, I agree he should be used sparingly at 35, but those 2 goals tonight were brilliant, a class act if ever there was one

 

He looked to be holding his groin a bit after the winner and when walking off at the end. Hopefully it is just a bit of tightness and nothing more serious. If there is any doubt we've got to be extra cautious as the worst thing we can do for him after all of the work put in to getting him back is to push him too far and make him pick up a muscle injury

 

Not sure but it won't have been that Cook lad. Yeah he scored a couple of goals but other than that he did nowt.

We won't continue our current form with our without Cook and to somehow blame him once we do drop would be bizarre.

Either way, he's not starting league games for weeks and weeks yet anyway.

 

2nd half changes made a big difference. Neufville showed why he has to start every week. I like Metcalfe but I think we've seen a couple of times that if Power isn't in the midfield we do miss him but it's not unexpected and playing alongside Power will only help Metcalfe develop over the next couple of years.

 

You obviously mean until he's fully match fit don't you ?, a 100% match fit Andy Cook shouldn't be an also ran coming off the bench when others for all their efforts can't hit a barn door, you have someone like Cook fit he plays for me.

His goals were superb tonight. I'm doubting my judgement. With the service he'd be getting I'm happy to hold my hands up. I have to ask though why you think our current form won't continue?
