Some of the finishing we saw before Cook came on was average at best, you cant replace a natural goal scorer no matter how much Alexander thinks otherwise, no I'm not suggesting he should start but in front of goal he's tremendous.

What a man. What a way to come back after 244 days injured and a few weeks off turning 35. What a boost to have a player like him coming back to add to what is already a fantastic start to the season. Absolutely made up for him

No I wouldn't start him Saturday but wouldn't it be nice to see him come on late in the game and score the winner at Doncaster just like that other goal poacher did for Doncaster last season ?.

Totally agree he rarely misses the target even though they may not always beat the keeper, but lets not get carried away Grimsby were on a hiding to nothing going down to 10 men but put up a good rear guard but as you say generally our finishing was woeful.
