He’s got a presence in the centre where it feels he’s got plenty of time, usually comes when a player is playing against opposition who can’t get near them. Definitely think he’s a talent and we’re yet to see the best of him.

Looked like Kelly pulled up injured, I know that he’s not everybody’s cup of tea but we can do without another injury at CB.

    Fingers crossed for Cooky too.

Some of the stuff played by a largely second string formation was outstanding and could have been a cricket score ?

I wouldn’t like to be GA picking Saturdays side?

Metcalf was brilliant however could you imagine ONeil as our “10” .

Shout out for Laps and Patto.

Yes Dimitri, there's something about Tyreik that I can't quite get, he doesn't seem to show much desire or enthusiasm, just seems to amble around. For me he shouldn't be near the team - then again what do I know, eh?

That was a really impressive performance. Reckon Lapslie will have played himself into the next squad with some lovely link up play and a great goal. So pleased to see Richards and Kav come through unscathed.

Humphrys looked much more like the player who impressed so much at the start of the season.

Only blot on the evening was the injury to the Everton lad. Wish him a speedy recovery but it's obviously a serious injury.

For who though? It feels a straight shoot out between him and Sarc and although Sarc has been a bit up and down in form he always seems to influence games.

Is there any update on Joel Catesby, the Everton lad who was injured?

What do the U21 teams add to this competition. What's the point in McNeal being in that side. I was men against boys once again. I might be wrong but we have battered every U21 side we have played bar one which took us to Pens. Pointless game tonight.

Will Swan actually has the best at the minute in the squad with a goal every 124 mins. Lapslie is second with a goal every 165 and Andy Cook is 3rd in the lost at a goal every 166 mins.

Cook scoring at that rate for so long is just ridiculously good.

He genuinely looks like he dislikes playing. There are times when you see him out wide when there is a break in play and he just looks like there are a million and one places he'd rather be.

Also as @DimitriPayet@DimitriPayet said earlier, about his reluctance to kick on. At one point he put the defender on his arse and could have gone in to the area but he turned back into the defender he'd left on the ground. I can't work him out

Every team we have faced are just the same. It's robotic triangles with no end product at all. It is simply to instill structure and discipline in a team and is waste of time.

At no point does a team go behind and think right come on let's have a go. They just stick to the same boring rigid formula.

    Get rid of them

Was that the Leicester game or did they beat us in normal time? Just remember them all knee sliding to the main stand like they'd just won the FA Youth Cup.
