I am hoping that Stefan is fully aware of how much this is going to cost. No doubt Gary has told him the ones he wants, and how much it will cost to bring in the players he wants, and as I am feeling optimistic already agreed the budget:)

I agree with above if a bit grudgingly with O'Donnell because I don't think he is very good I would also keep Luca Collville

I'm happy with this. We desperately need stability and an experienced hand.

As we know from bitter experience, we need to start planning for next season ASAP, not in late July.

There is something Parkinsonesque about GB that I like in his demeanor.

O'Donnell is good enough. He's had that shambles infront of him, no keeper coach and still kept us in countless games this season.

And yes I'd keep colville too.

Didnt Doyle partner that big unit who plays for Blackpool at Chesterfield. If so you are right, Doyle scored a shed load there

I reckon O'Donnell would be a good no.1 next season, though he is marmite seemingly. Keep GSK as backup. No point in scrabbling around for two keepers next season.

Mellor is capable, as is Wood.

New CB pairing needed badly. 2 great big b*stards please. An Andrew Davies Mark II would be ideal.

Riley, not sure what the story is there, but at 22 he should be pushing for a first team place, unless he's just not up to par. Really should have seen more of him this season.

If Akpan has a physical side to him, I'm not sure we've seen it enough this season.

Doyle plus another big fella up front.

You'd think I was looking forward to League two.

    Agree with most of that.

Although not particulary looking forward to relegation, league 2 doesnt bother me as much as some on here. I would rather watch a Parky type team, which I hope Bowyer can bring us, rebuilding in league 2, than watch another misfit shambles of a team in league 1 again

Its more just wanting to draw a line under this miserable season. We were of kilter from day 1.

I'm glad Bowyer's in place and not just in the short term.

Take a look at our team of technically adept midgets and tell me they haven't been bullied week in week out

I would imagine Bowyer is fully in the picture as to what the budget is for next season either in League 2 or if by a miracle League 1. Presumably there will be some flexibility in that he will probably have been told he can have any fee(s)/wages freed up by moving any players out of the club.

I don’t think bowyer will insist every signing is 6ft5 but is clear we have missed height at times this season.

We will need it even more in league two

I'm worried Colville is going to be that guy who scores with every shot at a local 6-a-side game because he's genuinely dangerous, but is playing 6-a-side at a local level because clubs were happy to keep letting him go as he just didn't have a good enough all round game to challenge for a first team place.

That type of player gets remembered for scoring goals, and some fans wonder for a long time why they didn't 'get their chance'.

Luca Colville has caught the eye with cameo performances, and fortunately for him, he's only 19, not 22 (ie, Omari Patrick).

Next season is MASSIVE for Colville, IF he stays.

Either way, at this point, I have no opinion if he stays or leaves. He's hardly O'Brien, who is a virtual must-start, he's a guy who may or may not get off the bench. And Lewis is only one year older, and his parent club actually want to keep him.

See thats the problem with relegation clauses! When it looks like we could go down, there is no fight from them, ZERO FaCKS given, cos they know they have a clause and wont go down!

Get rid of this shower of sh!te and get a real team in, with non of tnis relegation cluase crap for soft lads!

We need a real fighting team, like we used to have under Phil Parkinson

Can someone tell me how a relegation clause works? Does it mean the player can leave for free if we go down? Is it all in favour of the player?
