I thought he was more of a central midfield player?. Sounds like Bowyer trusts him character wise, vastly experienced at a higher level, could be a very useful addition to the squad

 

He looked very ordinary v Briggus.
Strange running style and a carbon copy of Josh Wright IMO.

 

He's always been crap when I've seen him, legs have gone too. He may be a good character but absolutely not what we need on the wing imo.

Well if he's a central player now then it should be an absolute no. We're already overloaded with shite in that position and need a proper defensive midfielder.

I agree,but he must have some doubts about whether he’s still the player he was when he previously signed him ,otherwise he wouldn’t be on trial. We had a few wingers playing against Brighouse, and by all accounts he wasn’t the best out of them so it’s not as cut and dry as some seem to think.

 

By the sound of the interview he is just waiting for money to be freed up

 

It was also mentioned in the YP that we'll need to move players on before bringing anymore in.

The only ones I'm really bothered about are Riley and Akpan. I hope we get rid of these 2 asap.

And the way he talked it sounded possible that there may be some outgoings. He didn't want to overplay things though.

Interesting comment I thought was when he said that he doesn't feel the market has got going yet despite though we've managed to get a good number in.

 

He's right. We've had the first phase when organised managers quietly go about the business of signing new players, and now we are moving onto the next stage where the slightly less organised start to think 'oh crikey, the new season starts in less than a month, I'd better get my skates on'. This will be followed by the 'panic stations' period when Adam Chicksen finally gets himself a new club.
