Bolton on strike

Some unhappy players there

 

Sounds like it's been going on for more than a year.

 

Happened multiple times to them now, I'd go on strike as well if it kept happening at my work.

 

There really needs to be some sort of football league/F.A investigation into clubs/owners that do this. It seems likely that Bolton have not in fact recovered financially, but once again have gambled and spent money they don't have on obtaining short term success. It's not fair on other teams either that do play by the rules.

 

I feel exactly the same. You can't go out paying transfer fees, signing players on contracts if you haven't got the money. Wonder how Otzumer feels

 

This is totally ridiculous, they stayed up by the skin of their teeth and now they are not paying wages again. FA, ought to get involved into financial mismanagement.

 

Spot on. The owners there seem to be relying on smoke and mirrors to convince the football authorities, players, agents, other clubs and most importantly their own fans that they are out of the financial mire. The truth is they are still operating insolvently whilst the owner is hawking the club abroad trying to offload it.

 

And some numpties are STIĹL signing for them!

 

Anyone signing for them is getting what they deserve,if we know about their problems surely theses players,agents should.

If you look at some of their "fan sites" the language is a total disgrace ..... like the running of the football club ..... and the controls in place from the EFL

 

I'm guessing language on 'fan sites' is rock bottom of a list of priorities at Bolton right at this minutes . If my club was in this predicament i'd be effing and jeffing too.

Maybe that should be aimed at their agents, how are they not aware of the situation, the PFA should be warning players.

 

Its understandable mate its their club when alls said and done, if there had been social media around during our second admin I'm sure there would have heen a few choice words aimed at our board at the time.

 

It’s not the players I feel sorry for. Football debts are paid first. It’s all those little businesses who will suffer whilst the club splash cash they haven’t got

 

Very true once you screw small local businesses they take some getting back on board if they do at all.

 

When I attended the creditors meeting at VP after the Richmond era many of the smaller creditors vowed never to return to VP and some had followed the club for ages

 

Even though St Johns are a voluntery group didn't the club owe them money, yes quite understandable with regards small local busnesses.
