Bobby and John for me too. (Is John Hawley still involved in family antiques business in Beverley?)

Not saying they were the best but first partnership I remember enjoying was big Joe Cooke and Bernie Wright. Used to love watching Bobby Campbell with Hawley, can still clearly see Bob towering above both centre backs and nodding in another great cross from John Hendrie - happy days! :)

It's got to be Campbell and Hawley for me, without that strike partnership City would have not achieved that promotion in 1985 and the success that followed.

Bobby is probably my favourite player of all time and I have seen a few. But albeit over a short period I think Mills and Blake were the best partnership

Blake and Mills for me, followed by Campbell and Hawley, followed (for one magnificent game against Carlisle away in 1985) by Campbell and Aidey Thorpe- the new Kevin Keegan!

Rod Green is the first striker I have any clear memories of, he used to get a lot of stick from some of the Bradford End but even at that young age I would sort of frown and think well he's scoring at least. Ah the innocence of youth as apparently it still doesn't always count.

Checking on Wiki it appears in his second season he scored 39 out if 66 appearances, was looking for who partnered him, as my memories of those first few games are hazy to say the least, but no luck.

    Steve Claridge & Andy Cooke.....

Or possibly.... Hanson & Wells - certainly the pair that brought me the most joy.

Or anyone who played with Barry Conlon

Collymore/Carbone lol!! most expensive wage wise....

Seriously tho, MIlls and Blake for me!

Windass never really did have a decent striker partner so did it all himself!

Mills and Blake without doubt for me. I enjoy the occasional re-run of the Chelsea cup win but the Wolves promotion game still sends shivers down my curved spine.
