Football charters run by supporter organusations are pretty well dead these days unless backed up by travel companies . I haven’t seen , nor heard of a football charter in 20 years years on the job! They may run in the North of England but certainly not in the south .

Train hire normally use scheduled services to garner bookings for large groups or adding
“ Private” carriages to an existing train . Whole train , non scheduled charters are rare as hens ….as I said earlier . It not impossible but v v expensive . If Leeds fans were struggling to get back from London last week …. I suggest we have zero hope !

I emailed to ask and they said yes I had to return them to the ticket office. So I dropped them off with a brief note in an envelope for Mick Lamb at our last night game - refund had been processed within the hour.

 

The special trains to Barnsley were a bit special, on arrival there was the welcoming committee. It was like the battle of Agincourt, on departing, Barnsley fans used to drop rocks off bridges onto the train, i kid you not.
