To be fair to Hopkin he did say no matter what formation we play if players dont do the basics like stopping crosses, if you can't you make sure the oppoition dont get a free header af the far post.
I was critical of the formation after our resent great run but he does have a point.

 

Agree Bronco, but he did move our best right back, and therefore arguably our best stopper of crossses, into midfield

 

I know where your coming from but leaving the ground its on the lips of every City fan....or at least the ones i could hear

 

I just posted it because I thought it was fair comment, we hear so much now a days that X can play several positions comfortably yet when the formation is changed they fail to do the basics, I thought both goals we conceded were well worked goals with Thiam very much involved in both, but as I posted to have two opposition players at the far post awaiting the cross is basic defending.
I agree I was saying the same, why change a winning team, but after hearing Hopkin's post match interview he had a point.
