Don't be so obstructive since the result of any contract negotiations haven't reached the public domain yet. You know I am referring to the arrangements which have been in place for several years now at the stand kiosks.

Never mind painting the bantams bar, Reeves and Scannell could have painted the forth rail bridge with the amount of time they had on their hands.

Here's an idea if you don't want to help Bingley Bantams fund the refurbishment don't.
It's getting as bad as the crowd funding for the dressing rooms/score board the other year, if Bingley Bantams are happy to pay for the refurbishment what's it to do with others.

I'm not being obstructive. Glenn's point was the club are limited in what beers they sell because they sold the rights to the suites and kiosks. Therefore the contract owners decide what is sold.

Not a case of not wanting to help or decry them for doing it Dave
If that's what they want to do so be it
Seems ironic with our chairmans reported wealth we have to have a whip round for basic maitainence
Are the fans going to get reduced admission or cheaper beer for funding such improvements I would gamble not
Each to their own but it seems so much money was wasted last season both pre and post Mr Rahic and the pure dross we were treated to on the pitch the club should first put their own house in order.

If the fans who contribute to helping Bingley Bantams refurbish the Bantams Bar are happy why does it matter, that's my point.

Problem with cask, apart from the shelf life, is the way it's stored. There would need to be cellar cooling, racking plus all the dispense kit involved. Then at the other end, there would need to be someone who actually knows what they are doing.
I'd go for one way kegs of Saltaire, Magic Rock, Northern Monk to name but a few great local "craft" breweries. Taste wise it's not far off "real ale", light enough to satisfy the lager boys, and a few other taps could be set aside for something more hoppy. Three weeks shelf life once opened (it's really just Bag In Box), and can be dispensed using regular existing equipment.

Footnote: Just found out that Salamander have stopped brewing. That's sad news. Used to love their "Mud Puppy" ale.

I agree with you Bronco, it’s a laudable thing to do, and I’m not having a go at them, but why should they have to pay for it? It’s not a community club, it’s a private business bought to make a profit for a wealthy man in a stadium owned by a pension fund to make a profit for a wealthy family. If the club had anything about them they’d say thanks, but I’ll tell you what, we’ll pay for it and give your money to the women’s or disabled teams.

I'm to a member of Bingley Bantams but I'd suggest it must have been discussed with their members with regards what they do with money they've raised and the members I assume have made the decision.
I agree with you're above the club is owned by a very wealthy man who knew what he was undertaking (well you'd hope so) when he purchased the club, although at times you have to question if he did enough back ground checks.

The Carlsberg contract relates to the beer only. The events/concourse catering contracts are separate food providers.

WIth Carlsberg, whilst other drinks can be provided, we're very heavily rewarded to supply Carlsberg products. If we provided a none-Carlsberg line we'd lose significant revenue.

    Absolutely
Genuine question has the club publicly thanked the Bingley Bantams or have they said they would make up the shortfall to complete the job not seen anything myself
But that's probably lost in the silence emanating from the club at the moment

They don’t have to pay for it but it probably isn’t a priority for the club at the moment either so if the people that use it want to improve it then fair enough.
