Like it actually matters what other fans think.

I suppose this reopens the Saturday Ifollow debate again. I only attend a few away matches a season and they will be the closer ones. Not that I can't afford the money but I can't afford the time to travel to Swindon for example. That said I would happily pay the full price of a matchday ticket to watch it on ifollow. There must be hundreds if not thousands of fans like me. That's a lot of revenue lost

I'm pretty mild mannered, but McKirdy's the kind of kid at school you couldn't stop disliking. The Vale violence cannot be condemned - but he's such a wind up merchant that you could see him getting attacked a mile off, given that he was let go last season.

Interesting that Daryl Clarke let him go as I think he's an excellent judge of a players character. For all his talent, McKirdy strikes me as far too much bother than his obvious talent is worth.

Pleased that it's Vale v Mansfield as with their managers, they would be certs to be challenging next season - so at least one is out of the way. And along with Exeter they were the best teams to come to VP.

I'm thinking it's another defeat on the road as City tumble further down the league.

Williams and Payne to control the game for them. Our only hope is their strikers misfiring as much as ours do when in control of games.

Starting with Robinson you might as well start with 10 men. Makes the decision to sell Crankshaw even more baffling, he wasn’t great but offered more than Theo and Caolan

Robinson has height and a little pace and could be the player we need but we will never know without a run of games, Sometimes players that are poor at one club score for fun at others but need the confidence of a manager that can handle them
It is beyond belief that such as Gilliard and Evans are picked in front of him

No. Just one who has a different opinion to every other poster on the board.

I used to think you were just a wum but once that option was ruled out I can only conclude that it's class A narcotics. Probably hallucinogenic ones given that you seem to be able to spot Gillead actually making a contribution.

Amazing what happens when you give a player a start. Who'd have thought two strikers starting would help eh.....

Stop it. You’ve watched us for long enough to not make stupid statements like that.

It's not just the score, we are playing really well, could do with this every week...

Parking the bus means you defend for 90 minutes and hope for a one off chance. That's not what we did.

Completely agree, one result doesn't paper over our inadequacies. Thing that pleases me most is seeing both Robinson and Lavery score. Robinson especially due to the comments posted on the likes of here. First time the bloody manager has given Lavery a start and he has a good game.

If you are off the field without refs permission you are deemed to be stood on the dead ball line.
Just prevents players stepping off field to catch a player offside.

That was a terrific away performance. Defensively we were very very good and always looked a threat on the counter. Lavery and Canavan both came in and had great games and what a goal from Robinson with his first touch! Cook can't do it all by himself so great to see the other 2 strikers open their accounts.

For all Swindon's possession they rarely caused us any serious problems. ROD didn't have a great deal to do - good save from a free kick and a header in 90+5 but that was it. Only mistake we made was Paudie losing the flight of the ball and giving away a completely needless pen.

Sutton has a phenomenal engine and drive through central midfield that is very rare these days - causes teams all sorts of problems

I know a lot of people like Paudie but he's not half the player without a strong, senior partner alongside him. I think we have enough evidence to come to this conclusion after 3 years!!

Well the game I watched showed balls being fed through midfield which created 2 good chances for Cook. We didn’t lump the ball long all afternoon and certainly weren’t scrapping for our lives at the back. This wasn’t the definition of parking a bus

Don't know about your version but my version of parking the bus is Burnley going to the Etihad, Man City having 20 odd shots to Burnleys one corner. And Burnley pat themselves on the back for coming away with a point. At no point in that game we're we 'under the cosh'. I'll give you a good example of parking the bus where we actually won, Preston away with the late strike from Yeates, we defended all game and Pickford had to have the best keeping performance I've seen for years. Today O'Donnell had two saves to make, both regulation.
