    If you are travelling between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent / Stockport / Manchester:

    Trains are currently unable to run between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent. Some CrossCountry and Virgin Trains services will be diverted via Crewe, not calling at Stoke-on-Trent, Macclesfield or Stockport.

    Yes, the train I was planning to get to Macclesfield has been diverted via Crewe; however, there is now flooding in that area, so that line may get closed as well. Given the weather and disruption, I'm happy that we got an early decision on today's game.
