City have 5 strikers when Novak gets back. Not sure we’re doing justice to what we have Bronco. We only play with one striker and the other at best has to play out of position.
If you don’t play well you’re off after 70minutes and if you score you’re on the bench for the next game.
The supply to our forward line leaves a lot to be desired,just hope we can sort it out tactically starting at Scunny tomorrow.

 

And the other irony is we are playing the Iron tonight.......

I don't think they trust Rowe to do the job they want. Cook offers more as an out and out striker.

 

The summeriser is knowledgeable and a decent listen.

We had a 20 min spell well we played quickly and moved it nicely through midfield, but we've still created very little and Cook looks very isolated.

 

Cook feeding off scraps you have to feel for the guy, no one prepared to hold the ball and at times our passing in the middle of the pitch is very poor, Lets hope a half time cuppa might help.

 

The passing from these two has been atrocious.

I started writing before KO that I like O’Donnell as a character but think we look much more organised with Hornby. Since OD has come back in that’s only confirmed that. Sorry, but poor decision from T&S to drop Hornby IMO - I’d like to understand from them their reason for this.

 

The squad is light years ahead of what we had in October and feel a bit for McCall he was short changed with that squad. I am not saying he was a good manager but we had a truly awful set of players.


As for now we don’t look fit tonight to me. I don’t know if it’s lack of effort but that second goal was just bad all round players jogging back. Poor.
AOC was it beaten on back post easily. I hope we cut our losses with him in the summer.

I still think central midfield is our biggest issue however. Watt is nice on the ball when we are playing well but when the chips are down he looks lost. Sutton is not a central midfielder in all my born days. Just don’t see it. Just a runner

 

It’s not like city to offer contracts out and then have to backtrack after

 

I always said O’donnell is a dodgy keeper both goals he should have stopped... bring back hornby.

Ive lost count the amount of points O’Donnell has cost us... worst keeper we’ve had for a while

 

Worrying for T&S as these recent performances against what are poor sides have been terrible. No possession where it hurts teams equals defeats lads.

 

Rowe has completed more passes in 5 mins than the rest of the midfield all game

 

Let’s not forget that OD has actually made three decent saves. Scunny could have scored more than two. At the end of the day, they’ve just been more clinical all over the field. Back four solid, midfield mopped up, forwards been direct. Everything we haven’t been.
