Morecambe for me, its the beauty of football when the likes of Morecambe go up instead of Notlob. Bolton are a set of arrogant two hats and I would rather they got a taste of real life by staying put.

Always had a soft spot for tranmere so them going up wouldn't bother me.

I’ve never understood that myself, if they don’t go up it’s because they weren’t good enough to get promoted from this league and they’ll be a 4th tier club like the rest of us. It shouldn’t matter who’s in this league we should be looking for promotion ourselves. I hope Bolton stay down, one because of the reasons I mentioned yesterday but also if fans are allowed back it’ll be one of the only stadiums not like a garden shed we get to visit next season.

Totally agree Wilsden. If we have real ambition for next season, we shouldn't give a xxxx who else is in our league. We should be the strongest, the most feared, the club that will bully everyone else. That's the job T&S, Turnbull and Sparks have over the summer.

If as you say if fans are back in stadia next season we will more than likely give them their biggest away following and possibly their biggest crowd of the season and vice versa.

Agree Dave. If we're looking to be Champs next season, let's take on the best at this level. Much more exciting to have the likes of Bolton et al.

It's not called the Khazi League for nothing. Land of the Giants defenders who are athletes and bodybuilders not footballers. L2 is bloody ugly and we must get out of it asap.

Agree but we have to realise we are where we are because we've been badly managed both on and off the pitch certainly since the McCall second spell back the powers that be have to accept that, once we're back at Valley Parade with fans in teams have realised in the past were not a team to be feared we need to get fortress Valley Parade mentality back.

Whatever some may think, Bolton are a Big Club, with a stadium that is larger and far more modern than ours. For years the ‘reason’ for City’s poor when in League 2 has been trotted out as, ‘it is the away teams big day out’, like a visit to Wembley for a final. We couldn’t hide behind that this season. The teams which have been relegated include, Rochdale (at least it is a close away day), Northampton, Bristol Rovers, and Swindon Town, all teams with smaller grounds and far less history than Bolton. Arguably we will be the biggest club, so more pressure. Frankly I would prefer Bolton to miss out. I haven’t been to their new stadium, so one to tick off.

It's horrible. No atmosphere and cold, the atmosphere isn't a patch on a rocking VP and it's just a bigger version of the dog kennels in Huddersfield. It will be interesting to see if they suffer from "cup final syndrome" with teams upping their games if they stay down. It's also a nightmare to park and get away from as its in a retail park where you get tickets for parking in the shopping areas.

'Whatever happens tomorrow, to go into the last game of the season in the position that we're in is a fantastic achievement'.

'Our aim was to avoid relegation and we did that really early on. Anything from that was a bonus and we're comfortable at the end of the season'.

Two very different quotes from opposing managers ahead of today's game.

    Nuff said.

They should never be 'comfortable' in their postition, once the play-offs had actually became a reasonable possibility the idea that relegation had been avoided should have been forgotten and they should have looked to keep improving and aiming higher.

Bet @CambridgeSean@CambridgeSean arse is twitching today.
Home to Grimsby knowing it’s in your own hands and you only really need a draw due to massive goal difference is all you can ask for the last game but I bet he’s still a bit tense.
Seems like a decent bloke so all the best.
Hope he’s not relying on us to help him out.

    Not fulfilling your potential

Players, did so well but the ‘Given up’ poor performances of late have been very disappointing. You COULD have been hero’s and legends of the club.

Managers, yes you did the job of keeping us up, but how very weak to become complacent and seemingly satisfied. You COULD have been hero’s and legends of the club.

    TODAY: V Morecambe FC

For anyone wondering **weather** or not our team will travel up the M6 in this shocking weather and get a result, WAKEY WAKEY. Give up attitudes don’t win in weather like this. Morecambe will win today and go up automatically, their best seasonal performance to date. Fighting not like us, giving up.

Congratulations Derek Adams, great decision not coming to us. Big club no fight, little club league 1.

Absolutely this Tom. The bare minimum we should expect from our managers and players is that when an opportunity presents itself, they go for it. As a team, we are no better or worse than 95% of the other teams in this god awful league, and the only difference between the teams in the play off positions and us is that those teams wanted it more - simple as. That is not to say that had we given it a right good go we would have ended up in the play offs, but as I've said, the bare minimum we should be expecting as fans is to see some intent to get there. The fact that we haven't is unforgivable imo.
