Because if I remember correctly people were promised if they went to the Millwall came you got tickets for the next round or something to that effect.

Look, the club said sorry! So lets not make out it wasn't a shambles because you were there.

Where have I said or suggested that, once again totally irrelavent to my question.
I sas thinking it might have been that one fan could take 5/10 of his mates/family tickets down to the ticket office and get tickets for them.
I went to the Millwall game by the way.

I did that and make no shame of it. We’d all travelled all over the places for donkeys years, it was winter and heavy snow forecast with people living all over the place.
Two of us drove around in the snow getting the tickets and got them for everyone.
Would’ve made no difference (other than a longer queue) if they’d all turned up.
Got there at 3.30 after walking from Clayton and got tickets heading towards lunch time.
I think it was the mixed messages re online selling that was the *@?$ up - ie agreeing to release at the same time as those in person but then realising they’d just sellout online so delaying or pulling so those who queued had a chance.

Yes thats how I remember the situation, as you say either every season ticket holder had to go down in person and purchase a ticket or as you and many others did take several friends and family tickets down and get tickets for them all.
Or maybe as I did after the replay go down on the Wednesday morning purchase a priority ticket or 3 in my case and be assured a ticket, fordy would say thinking on your feet ;).

    Wise move Bronco
Realistically - even if I’d just sorted my own out I wouldn’t have dragged my kids out of bed at 2.30.
You win some you lose some and there will always be someone unlucky who misses out (Burton away for me being one example).
I wonder if these will only be around for a season or so, as surely the loyalty scheme will then take over once people have accrued points etc.....or will the loyalty scheme be usurped by a priority card - we shall see.

We sat with all the Chelsea fans, they weren't happy when we started cheering our goals.

I couldn't get a ticket for the promotion game at Wolves, Fotunately Christine Gilliver got me and my brother onto the player's wives coaches. So glad we managed to get there.

Yes there were rumours at the time that certain supporter branches got tickets for the Fleetwood away game, which was a little annoying if true as we were told they would go on sale for priority ticket holder from 9am on the Monday morning I got straight into the ticketing site and low and behold they'd all been sold.

Are the priority tickets numbered for games like Harrogate where there will be less tickets than priority members?

Don’t they just count as loyalty points so they give you a head start? I might be wrong but I read it as that, I.e if you got one but don’t go to any away games those that go regularly even if they don’t have one will be ahead in the queue. Or is that starting next season?

I believe the priority card will be used if there is an away ground that cant accommodate our away following and the priority ticket holders will be given first chance to purchase their tickets a few days before they will be put on general sale to season ticket holders.

priority card are for away games this year with the points system not kicking in till next season. So you earn points this season but current plan is that it isn’t used until next year when there will not be priority away cards for sale as the points system will be in olay

The Club did add "Should, however, cup fixtures arise this season where demand for tickets outweighs supply, the scheme could be introduced early". Whilst the Club statement did mention cup fixtures, it does suggest that we will be in a position to use the points system for an away league match should the need arise.

yep but surely if it was going to include league games they should already know that as they will already know the allocations for the matches.

I couldn't get a ticket for the promotion game at Wolves. No season ticket , My friend couldn't get me one. I was live in Peterborough at the time. Rang up Wolves to get one in there main stand, gave my address. They said are you a
Bradford City fan so I said yes so they said we can't let you have a ticket. So I rang up again straight away.
I said I was a neutral fan, got a ticket. Sat in the stand. Didn't speak or cheer, but I as cheering inside my head.
Did the same at Newcastle. Twice chap on my left said, are you a Bradford city fan. Second time I said Yes. He said that's alright as long as your not a Makem.

Last game I went to was Salford City away. Sat virtually behind the dug out. Briefly said hello to McCall. No problem whatsoever. Bumped into some other people we knew. All in the ‘Home’ section. No problem whatsoever.
