He’s struggling!

 

I think he has the skills but due to inconsistency is unable to employ them properly. I strongly suspect he doesn’t read the game correctly. There are situations where doing lovely things with the ball is the wrong time. Last night he had manage to extract the ball from the defender beautifully but then for some reason stopped and instead of passing it to another player he kept the ball and ultimately lost possession. I don’t think training will help either. I don’t think he is a selfish player and wants to be a team player but constantly over thinking in tight situations.

We will have to see what happens in the next few months.

As for Oliver well he clearly isn’t fit and carrying weight. He didn’t even try to get the ball or he is so out of condition he can’t. It is like someone has moved into our house and won’t leave.

 

Tell you what, didn't Johnson look assured in that RCB role? I was assured this was impossible...

 

Yes I thought he had a decent game . There was only one occasion where defensive duties got mixed up between him and Halliday I noticed.
Decent pace and a certainly got up and down the wing.

It seems to have gone down by about £1,500 since yesterday, it now stands at just under £76,000 per week - can only assume it is updated every so often with incoming/outgoing players.

 

That is absolutely pathetic from Villa.

Let's talk about how Tyler Smith should be getting 30 goals a season. His performances against kids were superb.

Or we could just take it with a pinch of salt and see how Johnson performs in proper games before declaring him the next Dean Richards. That's assuming he plays enough before breaking down again of course.

One thing's for sure though, he's certainly got nothing to beat in terms of ability if he's to take the position and we're desperate for a bit of solidity adding to that back line so here's hoping!
