He sold a large portion of shares to some US investors, and no longer had control. Fans didn't like it when they were relegated and blamed him for selling to these investors. Made his position impossible.

 

I thought this rumour had been quashed a couple of months ago?

 

I like it though especially the bit about getting new investors/owner.

Charlton have a new owner. Wexham attracting Hollywood investment/ownership. Forrest Green Rovers have got new investment.

People will invest or buy in any climate but the issues will remain and that's if you want silly money for something then you might struggle to sell.

 

Some investors invest in companies during financial crisis’ as there is more potential for profit once the climate improves, that’s just the way it is with our capitalist society we will always have ups and downs. That said our business seems well over priced so will put people off unless it is drastically reduced to reflect the climate and level we’re at.

Well it's not utter nonsense when we have an owner who is probably putting an over priced valuation on an asset that is failing in the middle of pandemic.

 

We can only assume Stefan is no idiot with regards business (well most business) no one could predict the situation going forward and I believe even though he has complete trust in Julian he must recognise Bradford City could become a money pit, and may want to get rid of something he does not have control over certainly in the near future.

 

The Charlton situation is nothing like our own. Ryan Reynolds buying Wrexham won't happen. Hector Bellerins investment in FGR has nothing to do with football. Ridiculous comparisons.

 

Seen a rumour on FB that we are chasing Devante Cole. Probably a wind up because he is another ex. If true, would he be welcomed back and more to the point would he do a good job at this level?

 

Don't believe this one. I'd welcome Hiwula but not Cole. Feel that there is a big difference in attitude unless of course he has grown up.

The annoying thing about Devante is he has the ability, unfortunately most times he didn't look to be putting the effort in, even in Parky's side he got 5 goals from 19 many as sub from the bench better than many past strikers, but no I wouldn't want him back.

done nothing since he left us and nothing before
